Handspun Merino and ENTWINEs new series!

We here at ENTWINE are learning much about natural fibers, merino, bamboo, felting, and other wool yarns! We are excited to announce that over the course of the next few issues, there will be a column about handspun, hand dyed, natural wool yarns! We have been sampling bamboo hooks and wonderfully soft wools and are thrilled to share what we are learning with you!
Here are some photos of what we have been getting to work with: (just a sneak peak!)
The greens are a blend of merino and polyester, and they are incredibly soft! Very similar in weight and ply to Caron Simply Soft or a baby worsted acrylic- only exceptionally softer!

This maroon is breathtakingly dyed, and oh so soft. Finer than acrylic worsted yarns, but wonderful to work on a WIP with! It's name is Romantic Ruby, and we can certainly see why!

Wool and other natural fibers are highly recommended for clothing, like sweaters, hats, socks and the like because of their durability, breathability, and warmth. How else would sheep stay warm in those brutal winters?  We are working on some top-secret stuff to preview this fiber with, and we think you are going to like it! Dive into the fiber arts with us!

We will continue to update and post teasers into the coming issues as time progresses!

Have you made anything with quality natural fibers?
What are your favorites to work with, and why?
We would love to hear your input, and see what you have made! Comment below and tell us what you have done and what you think! Are you as excited as we are for the new series? We hope so!

Keep those hooks hot and those WIPs working, crocheters!
